Awards


Overall

Prize money will be awarded to the top overall male and female finishers under USATF rules. The top 5 overall winners and 1st place winners in Masters, Grandmasters and Senior Grandmasters divisions in both the 10K and 5K, male and female, will receive distinctive race mementos. Additional prize money will be awarded to the top male and female American runners.

Racewalkers and Wheelchairs

Specially designed medallions will be awarded to the top five male and female racewalkers. Male and female wheelchair winners in open, quad, and junior divisions will be recognized.

Local

Special awards will be presented to the top local male and female 10K finishers in the following categories:

-Top five male & female overall (any age) finishers
-Top male & female Master (40 and over) finishers
-Top male & female Grandmaster (50 and over) finishers
-Top male & female Senior Grandmaster (60 and over) finishers

To be considered a local runner, you must be a current resident of Mobile or Baldwin counties and/or a participating member of the Port City Pacers. Invited runners and collegiate runners who have competed within the last six months are not eligible to win local awards.

If you have any questions regarding your status as local runner, have recently moved to the area, or have recently completed your collegiate eligibility, please contact the Port City Pacers by March , .

Age Divisions (Female and Male)

Specially designed medallions will be awarded to the top ten 10K and the top five 5K female and male finishers in the following age divisions.

0 to 9 20 to 2435 to 3950 to 5465 to 69
10 to 1425 to 2940 to 4455 to 5970 to 74
15 to 1930 to 3445 to 4960 to 6475 to 79
80 & up

Awards Ceremony

Awards for overall, wheelchair, top race walkers, school program, local and team winners will be presented, circumstances allowing, at the Civic Center beginning at 10:30 AM on Saturday. Age group awards will be available for pick-up starting at 10:30 AM in the Civic Center. Age group winners will not be announced. Any unclaimed medals will be available for pick-up for two weeks, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM – 4 PM, at the Port City Pacer office located at 358 Morgan Ave. To make special delivery arrangements, contact the PCP at info@pcpacers.org or 251-473-7223.
