Good morning Bill,
Elections are over and I just viewed your email this morning.
Regrettably, everything that we've planned for this Dad's Day race event
will need to be postponed until June 16, 2007.
Our major funding source cannot deliver as expected this week.
Unfortunately, without them we cannot take care of all the expenses.
They're committed for next year's (2007) race and events, but we're also
soliciting other sponsors to help make this worthwhile event happen.
I apologize for any inconveniences or problems this may cause.
We have some strong folk coming on our advisory board (some retired) who
are committed to men's health and seeing this event come to a reality.
We plan on doing another scaled down health screening father's day
weekend, to keep the community aware of our ongoing efforts.
I'll give you a call today.
