...I would say the nighttime temps were definitely helpful (for me at least), but it didn't quite make up for the lack of oxygen. When you are racing constantly at 5000ft. with many sections at 7000....and rising to 9000 ft.....you are going to FEEL it!!!
During the daytime, the Sun was very intense with temps in the 90s (thankfully the humidity was hovering around 11%. We will be posting some "tales from the road" along with pictures on our "Spiridon" site over the next few days....in the meantime I would HIGHLY recommend this event to any group looking for a challenging adventure!!!
