suggestions for a 10 mile running route?

I'm a runner from Athens GA who will be moving to Mobile in August. I'm going to be in town next weekend for the first time to begin checking out the area and am looking for a nice, safe 10 mile route to run. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or, are there any group runs that meet on Saturdays that might be going this distance?
