Thanks to Sylvia and Kerry for clarifying the relationship. I had assumed he was affiliated in some way with the race organizers because he seemed to know many of the runners crossing the finish line by name.

It was a wonderful day of disc golf. We had 175 players competing with a round each at Langan Park and at USA ... $10,000+ payout in cash and prizes.
