I know, Joe Cain was several months and a lot of races ago but like old Slack it just keeps coming up. On behalf of the Bay Area Runners I would like to say thanks to all who supported the Joe Cain run. With you the running community and our sponsors we were able to give the Mobile Patriots a check for $10.000.00. For those of you who are unaware, the mission of the BAR is to put on a race to benefit Challenged Atheletes, this year these amazing atheletes happen to be the Mobile Patriots basketball team, a wheelchair basketball team. They are awesome to watch and tough to play against.
Again, thanks to all who supported the race and the cause.
