HEY! I am too! I'm as brave as they come...just didn't see any of this 'til today. Must've been that alien abduction.
And while it's only a USATF *track* rule, let us not forget to factor in wind-aided performances, esp. on point-to-point road courses.
And as I've said before and say again, age-grading is for ninnies, but that's just one girl's opinion. But if you want to go that way, why not make it even MORE interesting and toss in sex-grading....that is to say, figure out what your ACTUAL time would translate into if you were not only younger, but also the opposite sex from whatever you currently are. Now THAT'S what I call interesting!
