The rumor is true, I am leaving town. I'm moving only as far as Birmingham, though. I won't be so far away that I won't be able to come down for a race or two here and there.
As for the Gauntlet, I don't think I'm even in the top 4 for CHARR judging from the last couple of races. But that's not why I'm leaving.
I will miss running with the CHARR group the most, but racing against you and Demouy is a close second. There is a very special road running/racing community here in Mobile and I'm grateful to have been a part of it and for all the great people I have met.
