As most of you know, the BankTust First Light Marathon picked up a sponsorship from Under Armour (UA) this year. Part of the result is the UA shirt for the frist registrants. Another part of that is a shoe award for the top finishers, and part of that is an award of five UA bags to the fastest male, female and coed teams. This will be awarded to the fastest team, regardless of division.
For example, if a women's team in the master's division log's a 4:00:00 victory, and the fastst open womes's team is 4:00:01, the masters bring home the bags.
I have heard a lot of talk about people putting together various teams, and I think this year may be the best year of competition yet. Participation is up in many races, and the relay has grown each year of the marathon.
