Not sure if the course is new, as I got the information from the race application. I did call Willie Foster this morning to verify both the 5K and 10K Start time at 9:00 a.m. and he confirmed. I am hoping that the 5K is flat as my 7-year old will be running that and he will not be happy if there are hills.
I do remember the race being a 5-miler last year, and I thought there were just a few gentle rolling hills, but not for sure.
It is a great race with a great post race as well.
One more thing, there is a Victory Bowl Banquet tonight as well at 7:00 p.m. at the Biscuit King. Cost is $8.00 for adults; children aged 6-12 $5.00 and children aged 0-6 free. Please contact Willie Foster for more information or availability.
