Just an FYI...
I had been under the impression that money had previously been allocated for adding sidewalks along Old Shell Road between McGregor and University (which, if you run it regularly, you are already aware is a royal pain). Having seen no progress, I asked District 7 Councilwoman Gina Gregory what the deal was. Here is her response:
"The sidewalk project will be bid at the end of the month. They should
have already been bid and a contract awarded. However, due to a problem
with the advertising language, we had to start the process over."
So there is hope!
