Congratulations to everyone on a "job well done" in today's First Light Marathon!
I don't have all of the details, but going from my "foggy" memory...
Team Spiridon sets new coed division course record- 2:35:1?
Team Members:
John Brigham
Amy Huff
Justin Parker
Jon Bowie
Kenny Pfeiffer
They lowered the record by over EIGHT minutes!
John Brigham ran his debut Marathon setting a new course record in the process....2:36:4?.....lowering the course record by over THREE minutes!
In fact, the first 3 Marathon runners across the finish line today were below the old course record of 2:40:11.....OUTSTANDING!! Chuck Engall & Samson Kipchirchir (2nd & 3rd)
I know there were many other "personal bests" set today, let's here about them!
Congrats also to Victor and Kenric......Victor for running a great time (3:12?) ONLY a few weeks after running the Jacksonville Marathon (what, are you NUTS??!! LOL) and Kenric for qualifying for Boston in his first attempt with a 3:10....welcome to the "Dark Side" Bwaha-ha-ha-hahahahahah. :)
