Actually . . . I'm the one that's crying. I injured a calf about 10 days ago and though it would be ready but I reinjured it on an easy jog on Thursday evening and now it looks like I'll be a DNS. I do plan to drop by, pick up my pre-registration package and socialize at the post race party though. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
But hey, let's be honest: Talk is cheap and when the chips are down, there is no doubt in my mind that - if healty - I did NOT have the fitness to challenge FBM with my legs, only my mouth. ;-) I'm running well for a 46 year-old has been but FBM has turned back the clock 10 years - I wouldn't be outrunning him tomorrow if I could run what I was running 10 years ago.
