The Fatherhood Initiative 5K Run/Walk will be held on April 18th in Bay Minette, AL beginning @ 8AM (1 mile will begin @ 9AM) to benefit the Baldwin County Fatherhood Initiative. This program improves the well being of children by increasing the proportion of children growing up with involved, responsible, and committed fathers. Training, counseling, and mediation are provided to parents so they can take an active role in their children lives and education. Participates will be treated to Hot Domino's Pizza, Subway Sandwiches, fruit, snacks & beverages.
Registration will take place @ the Kid's Park off McMillan Ave. the morning of the race. Entry forms are available @ McCoy's in Mobile and the YMCA in Daphne. Pre-register until the 17th of April @ the Wellness Center off Hand Ave. in Bay Minette and at Bay Minette Physical Therapy off Hwy. 31 South.
The course is flat & USATF certified 5K AL 08040JD
