I would like to share how well organized the MCM was this year. I lost my race packet the night before and the volunteers assured me that they would provide a race chip and bib the next morning in runner's village at the Pentagon. They came through and eased my tensions. My chip time didn't read correctly, but I was excited to actually run the marathon and have a record of it. We had great weather and it was a 1st class event. Great job Ali Stevenson and Kevin Kennedy. Kevin, you're my hero. I probably would not have been able to finish if I had experienced what you went through. Also, if you run the event next year you might want to fly into Reagan Airport, not Dulles, and Crystal City is the place to stay. It's close to the metro, starting line, and finish. What a great feeling!!!
