Hey,
I just wanted to let everyone know that the Infimary is putting on the Tour De Health Criterium on May 22, 2010. This is a bicyle race that is raced on a closed loop. The loop is 1K, and the cyclist race for a specified length of time. These are very fast, intense races.
Also, due to my long time love for running, we are holding the 1K Stat Dash at 3:35pm. The running race will be held between the fast mens and womens bike races. There will be $200 in prize money for the 1K.
So, after you run the Do it in the Bush that morning, come down to the Infirmary to watch some of the best cyclist in the southeast race, and give the 1K a shot!
We will also have kid races, food vendors, a live band, adult beverages, 3 on 3 basketball tournaments, and many other activities.
