I also hope the merging of the 2 races is reconsidered. It is chaos to merge two large groups of runners moving at very different speeds. I saw several near collisions. I have been travelling 3 hours each way to bring my family to the-previously-best run 10-K in the country for almost 20 years. I would hate to see ATR become an un-raceable run for all but the front of the pack. I am not sure that even moving the 5k back another 30 minutes would help-there were 5k strollers covering the street a good hour or so after the start; I'd hate to think about 5:30 pace runners trying to get through them. I have long promoted ATR as the best run race I do. I hope in coming years it will be again.
