I know most everyone will be doing the Senior Bowl run that weekend, but if anyone would like to do a beach run, this is a fun run with a post race at the Sandshaker on Pensacola Beach:
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Third Annual ‘In Hot Pursuit’ 5K will be held November 6, 2010 on Pensacola Beach. This year, all proceeds from the race will go to support the Florida Sheriff’s Association Youth Ranches, an organization dedicated to the prevention of juvenile delinquency and the production of strong, lawful and productive citizens for our community. There will be a fun beach course, great prizes, red beans and rice at the finish and medals for the winners. This year, your race number will also qualify you for TONS of great specials and discounts on Pensacola Beach the day of the race, so plan to come and spend the day.
The race will start at 8:00 am near the Pavilion on Pensacola Beach.
