Azalea Trail Run - Volunteers Needed!

The Port City Pacers are hosting The Azalea Trail Run on Saturday March 26, 2011 in Downtown Mobile, Alabama. The event includes a 10K and 5K road race, 2k Fun Run, and Health and Fitness Expo. All scheduled volunteers will receive an event T-Shirt.

The Port City Pacers need volunteers in the following categories:

1. Volunteers are needed between March 14-24 to assist with various event preparation activities including packet preparations, verification, and delivery of school programs packets. This requires no heavy lifting and the ability to pay careful attention to detail. Monday, March 14 - Thursday, March 17, until 8pm; Sunday, March 20 from 1-6 pm; Monday, March 21 - Thursday, March 24, until 8 pm.

2. Volunteers willing to work a minimum of two hours are needed on Friday, March 25th between noon-8pm at the Mobile Civic Center to assist with the Health and Fitness Expo, packet pickup, and registration.

3. Volunteers are needed on Saturday March 26 to assist with registration, course setup, course assistance, water stops, finish line, and post race festivities. Volunteers can spend two to five hours, depending on position and desired work time.
