The St. Jude 5k was a pleasant surprise. Lots of folks were there for a good cause. The course was nice too.
The Old Mobile 8k is always well done. I don't want to change the Old Mobile 8k or the Saraland 8k but I wish that we had a 3rd 8k in Mobile that lent itself to faster times for folks to break state records.
It would also be nice to have a 4 mile race in the Mobile area for locals to challenge some state records at that distance. Maybe the St. Jude course could be extended 9/10ths and certified for that purpose.
