I don't remember a turn at the finish last year. I remember the finish being on canal. Maybe with the new 5k route and a finish with no turn, the 5kers will instinctively stay to the right on canal since they are coming onto canal from the right. (did that make a lick of sense, I hope so).
but I do realize that with the new 5k route, the start probably had to be moved up thus creating the turn at the finish.
What to do what to do?. You are right about one thing victor, it was a great race put on yet again by the Port City Pacers.
