The Phi Theta Kappa Spring Fling 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run is set for 8 a.m. Saturday at Bishop State Community College.
The race is organized by the Alpha Epsilon Nu Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society to benefit the Bishop State Community College Scholarship Fund.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held in front of the gym on BCCC's main campus from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m.
Food and beverages will be provided after the race.
The 10th annual Easter Resurrection 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Run will be held on Saturday at the Daphne United Methodist Church Community Life Center, with the 5K starting at 8 a.m. and the fun run at 8:05 a.m.
Runners can register at the church, McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held from 7:15 to 7:55 a.m. at the Community Life Center.
Brunch and awards will start around 9 a.m. in the Community Life Center.
For those who want to get off their feet but still race with their legs, the Tour de LADR 21.4-mile bike ride rolls off at 7:30 a.m. Saturday from the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort in Point Clear.
The race is organized by the Medical Society of Mobile County and benefits Camp Rap-A-Hope, a camp for children with cancer, and the Mobile Medical Endowment Trust.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held from 6 to 7:15 a.m. at the race site.
The postrace party will include food, beverages and music.
