Corky Kaechele, my husband, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor on August 28, 2012. On his journey he witnessed many children with the same destiny as his. Corky said to me, "Momma, they don't even know what's going on, we have to help them."
Corky died December 22, 2012. In Corky's memory I have organized a 5K run/walk to be held in conjunction with the St. Jude's Bike-A-Thon being hosted by Corky's sister, Chick. To honor Corky's desire to help the kid's at St Jude's, proceeds from the run will go to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Splits called at each mile, water at half way marker.
