The Labor Day 5K will be held at 7 a.m. Aug. 31 at Tacky Jack's in Gulf Shores.
The event also has a 1-mile fun run.
Part of the proceeds from the race benefit Furrever Homes Animal Rescue.
Runners can register online until midnight Aug. 29.
Free food and beer will be available after the race.
The Cover Your Bases 4-Mile Run will be held at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 2 at Oscar Driver Park in Saraland.
The event also has a 1-mile fun run.
The race benefits Saraland girls' softball.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Aug. 29 or online until midnight Aug. 29. Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:15 a.m. at Driver Park.
Fruit, snacks and beverages will be provided after the race.
