The Hurricane Run 5K will be held at 8:10 a.m. Sept. 7 at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. The event has a one-half-mile fun run that starts at 9 a.m.
The Port City Pacers' race benefits the Dauphin Island Fire and Rescue units and is sponsored by Crowder Gulf.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Sept. 5 or online until midnight Sept. 5. Race-day registration will be held from 6:45 to 7:40 a.m. at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab.
Food and beverages will be provided after the race.
