The BayFest 5K Run will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at Bienville Square in downtown Mobile. A 1-mile fun run is set for 9.

The event benefits the BayFest Music Industry Education and Scholarship Programs.

Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at Bienville Square.

Food and beverages will be provided after the race, when there'll be door-prize drawings and live music.

The Wonderful Wacky Women Making Waves To Wipe Out Ovarian Cancer 4-Mile Run will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Flora-Bama Lounge, Package and Oyster Bar in Orange Beach. The event also includes a 4-mile walk and a 1-mile fun run.

Runners can register online until noon Wednesday. Packet pickup and registration will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Running Wild Pensacola and from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Flora-Bama's Big Tent Stage. Race-day registration will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Flora-Bama.

There will be awards for the most creative costumes.

The first of the six heats of the second annual Delta Dash starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at Lower Bryants Landing in Stockton. The 3- to 4-mile obstacle course will have participants getting wet and muddy as they run, climb and crawl along the way to the finish line.

The race benefits the North Baldwin Professionals Scholarship Fund and the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce scholarship.

Runners can register online through Friday. Registration forms also are available online.

The Ingalls 5K on the Causeway will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at 75 Wisconsin Loop in Pascagoula. A 1-mile fun run is set for 10:30 a.m.

The event benefits Special Olympics of Mississippi.

Runners can register online through midnight Thursday.

The Walk of Ages 5K will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Performing Arts Pavilion at Langan Municipal Park in Mobile. The event also has a 1-mile fun run.

The non-competitive event benefits the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program.

Walkers can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile until noon Thursday or online until midnight Thursday. Walk-day registration will be held from 7 to 7:45 a.m.

After the event, there'll be food, beverages, music and other activities.
