The Miles 4 Midwives Mobile 5K will be held at 8 a.m. Nov. 16 at Medal of Honor Park. A 1-mile fun run also is scheduled.

The event is organized by the Alabama Birthing Coalition.

Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Nov. 14 or online until midnight Nov. 14. Race-day registration will be held starting at 6:30 a.m. at Medal of Honor Park.

In addition to food and beverages, the postrace activities will include the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Expo.

The UCP Catch the Glow 5K Run will be held at 9:00 p.m. Nov. 16 on the Jag 5K course at the University of South Alabama. A 1-mile fun run is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.

Organized by Camp Smile and the Sigma Chi Fraternity, the event benefits United Cerebral Palsy's Camp Smile.

Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Nov. 14 or online until midnight Nov. 14. Race-day registration will be held starting from 7 to 8 p.m. at the SGA Pavilion.

Food and beverages will be provided after the race, and the Glow Party will continue with music and activities.

The Scott Ward Memorial Fit for Duty 5K will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Nov. 17 at the Bounds Family YMCA in Daphne. A 1-mile fun run also is scheduled.

Sponsored by the Scott Ward Memorial Fund and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, the event benefits the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office Explorer Program and the Shining Star Camp.

Ward was a Baldwin County Sheriff's deputy who died in the line of duty on Nov. 23. Ward was a supporter of the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office Explorer Program and the Shining Star Camp as well as a fitness and nutrition enthusiast.

Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Nov. 15 or online until midnight Nov. 15. Race-day registration will be held starting from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the Bounds Family YMCA.

After the race, there'll be food, beverages and music.
