The PHind a Cure 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the SGA Pavilion on the intramural fields at the University of South Alabama.
The event, which includes a three-quarter-mile fun run, benefits the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday, Jan. 2, or online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the SGA Pavilion.
Food and beverages will be provided after the race.
The Color Me Jubilee 5K and 1-mile fun run will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at The Fieldhouse in Daphne. Participants will be blasted with colored corn starch during the race. The 5K on a certified course will be timed.
The event benefits Southern Spirit Softball.
Participants can register online. Race-day registration will be held if open positions remain in the field.
Refreshments will be available after the race.
The 31st Victory Bowl 5K & 10K Runs will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the Biscuit King Restaurant on County Road 24, Fairhope, AL.
The event benefits St. Jude Children's Hospital. Entry fee amount is your choice and all goes to the hospital.
Race-day registration will be held until 8:30 a.m. at the Biscuit King.
Homemade food and beverages will be provided inside after the race.
Top male/female runners in 10K win a weekend at the Grand Hotel.
