The 36th annual Spring Fever Chase 10K will be held at 8 a.m. March 15 in Fairhope, starting at Fairhope Avenue and Bayview Street. The 2-mile fun run follows at 9:30 a.m.

The event is sponsored by Thomas Hospital and Wells Fargo.

Runners can register online until midnight March 11. Race-day registration will begin at 7 a.m. at the starting line.

Fruit and other refreshments will be available at the awards ceremony.

The third annual Maranatha 5K Race will be held at 8 a.m. March 15 on the University of South Alabama campus. The 1-mile fun run will follow at 9 a.m.

Organized by the USA Catholic Student Association and the Vocations Office of the Archdiocese of Mobile, the event goes toward education of the seminarians of the Archdiocese of Mobile.

Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon March 13 or online until midnight March 12. Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the race site.

The post-race party will feature refreshments, food and door prizes.

The Shamrock Shuffle 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run will be held at 8 a.m. March 15 at Dawes Intermediate School in Mobile.

Organized by the Dawes Dashers Running Club, the event benefits the Shriners' Hospital for Children.

Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon March 13 or online until midnight March 13. Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. at Dawes Intermediate School.

Food and beverages will be provided after the race.

The Flora-Bama Beach Run/Walk for America's Heroes will be held at 9 a.m. March 15 at the Flora-Bama Lounge, Package and Oyster Bar in Perdido Key. The event features a half-marathon and a 5K.

The event benefits the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which supports scholarship grants for children of U.S. military special-operations personnel who have lost their lives in the line of duty and financial assistance to severely wounded special-operations personnel.

Runners can register online through midnight March 14.

The Semmes Azalea Festival 5K will be held at 9 a.m. March 15 at Mary Montgomery High School.

Organized by the Friends of Semmes, the event benefits the Semmes Boys and Girls Club.

The post-race party will feature refreshments and door prizes.

The O'Daly's Green Dress Run 5K will be held at 4 p.m. March 15 at O'Daly's Irish Pub and Pita Pit at 564 Dauphin St. in Mobile.

Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon March 13 or online until midnight March 13. Race-day registration will be held from 2 to 2:30 p.m. at O'Daly's Irish Pub.

Sister Hazel, the Mulligan Brothers and Disciples of the Crow are scheduled to perform at the post-race party.

The 11th annual Bulldogs Run 5K and One-Half-Mile Fun Run will be held at 4 p.m. March 16 at UMS-Wright in Mobile.

Organized by the UMS-Wright Parents Association, the event benefits the UMS-Wright athletic department's non-revenue sports.

Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon March 13 or online until midnight March 13. Race-day registration will be held from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. at UMS-Wright.

In addition to food and beverages, the post-race party will feature children's activities, music and awards.

The Running with the Saints 2-Mile Run/Walk will be held at 4 p.m. March 16 at St. Paul's Episcopal School in Mobile.

Sponsored by the St. Paul's Parents Council, the event benefits the school.

Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon March 13 or online until midnight March 14. Race-day registration will be held from 3 to 3:45 p.m. at Saints' Square.

The post-race party at Quigley Field will feature refreshments, children's activities and awards.
