If you are looking for a good race with a beautiful course, come join us at the Catfish Chase 5K on Saturday, April 26th, at 8:00 a.m. The race starts at Providence United Methodist Church at 32200 Jimmy Faulkner Blvd. in Spanish Fort. To get there, take I-10 East to exit 38 (Spanish Fort/Daphne/Malbis Plantation) and turn left on to Hwy 181. Go past the Eastern Shore Centre and continue to the intersection of Hwy. 31. Go through the intersection (Hwy. 181 turns into Jimmy Faulkner Blvd.) The church is about a mile or so on the right. Registration will be held from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. The course is an out-and-back certified course. Afterwards, runners will be treated to our famous catfish plates, along with fruit and beverages. Door prizes will be awarded, and age group awards are 3 deep in five year increments. This is a family-friendly event, so come have a good time with us!
