The Do It in the Bush 5K will be held at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at Medal of Honor Park in Mobile.

Organized by the Port City Pacers, the event benefits the Port City Pacers Scholarship Fund.

Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at Medal of Honor Park.

The Port City Pacers will hold their end-of-the-year party and elect 2014-15 board members after the race.

The Jubilee Baptist Church Youth Cross Country 5K and Fun Run will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at the church at 9264 Pleasant Road in Daphne.

Organized by the JBC Youth, the event benefits Jubilee Baptist Youth Missions.

Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Thursday. Race-day registration will be held at Jubilee Baptist Church.

Snacks will be available after the race, when inflatables will be available for kids and door-prize drawings will be held.

The 5K Beer Run at 99 Bottles of Beer on the Lawn will be held at noon Saturday at Southern Napa in Daphne.

Organized by Southern Napa in conjunction with the 99 Bottles of Beer on the Lawn Beer Festival, the event benefits the Baldwin County Humane Society.

Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until midnight Thursday. Late registration will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Southern Napa. Race-day registration will be held from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at Southern Napa.

Food and beverages, including beer, will be provided after the race.

For those who want to use their feet without pounding the pavement, the fifth annual Good Life Ride will be held Sunday. The bicycle ride features three options, all ending at the Hangout in Gulf Shores - a 40-miler from Page and Palette in Fairhope, a 20-miler from Jesse's in Magnolia Springs and an 8-miler from the Orange Beach Sportsplex.

The Alabama Coastal Foundation and the Good Life Foundation sponsor the event.
