The Run for the Battleship 5K will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park.
Organized by the Battleship Foundation, the event benefits the park.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until 4:00 AM Friday. Race-day registration will be held from 7 to 8 a.m. at the park.
Food and beverages will be available after the race.
The 22nd annual Foley Rotary Oyster Run will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at Orange Blossom Square in Foley. A 1-mile fun run will follow the 5K at 9 a.m.
Organized by the Foley Rotary Club, the event benefits Rotary charities such as scholarships for Foley High School students, Habitat for Humanity, Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts and Snook YMCA.
Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at Orange Blossom Square.
A party will follow the event.
The Covenant Hospice Glo Run 5K will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, Nov. 7 on the Jag 5K course at the University of South Alabama. A 3/4 mile fun run is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
Race-day registration will be held starting from 6 to 6:45 p.m. at the SGA Pavilion.
Food and beverages will be provided after the race, and the Glow Party will continue with music and activities.
