The Gator Chase 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run will be held Saturday at Meaher State Park, with the 5K starting at 8 a.m. and the fun run following at 9.
Organized by the Spanish Fort Education Enrichment Foundation, the event benefits SFEEF projects.
Runners can register at any Spanish Fort school, McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Wednesday or online until 4:00 AM Friday. Race-day registration will be held from 7 to 7:45 a.m. at the Meaher State Park.
Food and beverages will be provided after the race.
