The Funky Monkey 5K and Fun Run will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday on the intramural fields at the University of South Alabama. The fun run will cover three-quarters of a mile.
The event benefits the Thompson Holdings Foundation.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday, March 12, or online until 4:00 AM Friday. Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the SGA Pavilion.
The post-race party will feature Mobile's biggest banana split.
The Shamrock Shuffle 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at Dawes Intermediate School in Mobile.
Organized by the Dawes Dashers Running Club, the event benefits the Alabama Kidney Foundation.
Runners can register at McCoy Outdoor and Run-N-Tri in Mobile and Running Wild in Fairhope until noon Thursday or online until 4:00 AM Friday. Race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. at Dawes Intermediate School.
Food and beverages will be provided after the race.
The O'Daly's Green Dress Run 5K will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at O'Daly's Irish Pub and Pita Pit at 564 Dauphin St. in Mobile.
