Ah but you must understand, for someone who is only averaging 12 miles of running per week and who's last long run was three weeks ago and was only 9 miles, the long run makes more sense than the fast run.
As far as using my car for driving lessons, let's just say I did see Ron's truck after "the incident in question" . . . ;-)
