Some have you have probably seen this story, but for those of you that have not........

Joseph Toomey, a Satsuma High football player was in a terrible accident a couple of weeks ago. His truck flipped over and landed on his neck area pinning him under the truck until he was cut out by the jaws of life. His spine was not severed but he is still paralyzed from the chest down (he can move his arms). I'm sure you guys are familiar with his story as it has received extensive media coverage.

If you feel so inclined...please drop him a message of encouragement and perhaps a prayer in the his guest book at the Caring Bridge. He is in Atlanta, still on a ventilator...but fighting vigorously to shed himself of it and begin rehab with the ultimate goal of walking again. He was one of the Baseball players who ran the "Bull Dog Run" at UMS earlier this year. Just a super athlete in both football and baseball. Here is the link:
