Jean and I were riding around Creola on the Creola-Axis Loop when we saw a bright red spot up ahead of us by about a half a mile. When we got close we realized it was an old fellow riding a bike who was wearing a bright hunter's orange hat(he should have been wearing a helmet). We got to musing that it would be a very good thing if runners were wearing such(vented) hats or singlets when they ran races where there were cars on the course. Is it possible that we could have a hunter's orange vented hat or singlet instead of a shirt for the Turkey 10? Just a thought. If not each runner should think about wearing her/his own bright hat or singlet for extra safety.
