Guess it wouldn't have made that much difference after all but I did miss three races that year while you attended every race on the schedule. Certainly makes your point that the current system rewards the most consistant, not the fastest. I've also lobbied for a system that takes maybe one's best 10 or 12 races to allow for the occasional injury, family matter, work issues, etc . . . given that format, it would have been:
1. Irgens - 936
2. Bowie - 886
