It's tough! All the promises and deals you make with oneself> It is such a flushing of the mind. To live in life and not stir yourself up mentally and physically would be a waste. I will now keep stirring until the next one comes along. I finished with a 12hr 32min. time. I expected better, but 16 days before, I took a hard spill on my bike. It affected me, but all the time and training Lance put me thru did not lend itself to any other decision but stepping up and going for it. I was more than ready, and will do better in my next IRON MAN!!!
