When you guys get done seeing who can outrun who on the gentle rolling hills of Cottage Hill Park, how about joining Team Spiridon in making the short trip over to Pensacola this upcoming Spring and join in the fray known as the McGuire's 5K Prediction Run? Of course we won't be concerned with the "Prediction" portion of the race.....just the team "speed" competition.:)
IMO, this is one THE BEST team events on the local/regional circuit.....and a great "tune-up" for ATR. There is usually a LARGE & DEEP field of racing teams that show up for this one so it's a good race to find out just where you stand in the area "pecking order"......but for some reason I don't recall ever seeing many "Mobile" teams make the trip. I realize March 2008 is a WAYS off.....but wanted to plant the seed and give everyone time to train and point to this one. We need to get a few teams over there to represent Mobile!
......and the party is a BLAST!!!!!! :)
