I ran the full marathon back in November of 2003. The marathon course was two loops around the perimeter of Stennis Space Center. It is a very fast and flat course. There was no traffic, except for the Abita Water truck delivering water to the water stops. There were a few port-o-potties on the course as well. If you are the type of runner who don't need all the fan-fare and etc., then this race is for you. The only people you will see on the course are the runners, and some of the runners' family members cheering you on. I highly recommend this race if you are looking for an easy course and this race is so in-expensive as well. Good luck if you are traveling over there this weekend (it is a long drive--almost to Louisiana).
