Sort of derail, but I remember going years back, with some of
our local runners. Some of the Spiridon team, and other pacers.
Needless to state, it was hot!! buuuuuuuut what was really the clincher,
at the start of the race, it was announced, that everyone should try
and be aware, that if they could not run a 5:30 pace, not to get in
the front. It was mentioned, that there were a lot of fast folks.
I thought, extreme humidity/heat, how many can hold that pace? It
was true, good turnout, and a lot of fast runners. They had a great
part in Seville. It was a well organized race.
