No kidding, my Trek 1000 is back on the market for no absolutely no less than the low, low price of 300 clams (provided they're each wrapped individually in one dollar bills---and contain no stinky clams).
I'm no bikie, so I can only tell you that I'm 5'6"; it fits me, it's in very good shape and it no longer sports my beloved aerobars and cushy big-butt seat---it now has a serious racing/torture seat. E-me, let's talk. You can test ride it, you can take it to a bike professional, you can do anything so long as you buy it.
What better way to say Merry Christmas you freakin' motorists who won't move over a quarter inch on the roads???
