Thanks to the staff and volunteers.
It was a great day, good weather and great route (flat and fast).
I was surprised, however, that there was only one station with gatorade during the course and no fruit on the course.
More pizza or food would have been useful for us slower folks... but the krispy kremes did hit the spot.
Special thanks to Peggy Black, outstanding peer support, she helped me maintain a great pace, popped a few jokes and encouraged me to keep moving.
I hate to be a sore loser, but I would recommend more monitoring (not judged) of the Race walker division to ensure proper form in accordance with USATF rules.
