Lynn, uh...how can I say this? You've actually signed off with the self-deprecating "slacker" as a middle name on at least one occasion. So, you should easily be able to punish the responsible party. As for M&B, that's the book-magazine Marathon & Beyond, and this is the kind of story they may well find worthy of publication. I'm an avid devotee of your posts, as I feel they reflect the musings of an accomplished runner with a sprinkling of humor thrown in for good measure so we don't all take ourselves too seriously (as I've heard cyclists and yes, even runners, are sometimes wont to do).
p.s. To those considering submitting reprisals, please remember the hackneyed admonition about what not to do to the messenger. Ha!
