Of course there is the Rev. Kerry Rehm Squirrel Memorial 33K in lovely Leakesville, Miss., only a few miles north of scenic Loo-se-dayle. It is held the Fourth Tuesday in February, per tradition, and celebrates the previous year's squirrel harvest.

Just kidding, of course, Randy. I (truthfully) live a little ways north of Lucedale, and short of advising you to dodge the cars/trucks/monster trucks on Brushy Creek Road north of Lucedale, I would encourage you to follow Ricky Leonard's advice and choose his routes. He is, after all, our fearless leader!

Welcome to the land of deep-fried squirrels, smokeless tobacco and people named "Blubber."

Yours in Leakesville,
Joe Rolison
