Sorry to cut into your beauty sleep there Victor, but yes we have re-scheduled the race for July 14th. The first "heat" will start at 9:00pm....hey, we want the race to actually take place at NIGHT!! (LOL!)
As for the reasons for change.....one was the fact that the Grand Man Tri is that Saturday morning in June and we felt with that being a popular local event it cost us some runners. The other reason was the feeling that by moving to more of a "Mid-Summer" race (at NIGHT!), area runners may be a little "hungrier" for a road race.....not many opportunities during that time of year here on the Gulf Coast (....and rightfully so.)
