My husband and kids run in Blakely all the time, but we live right next door. We buy a yearly pass too since we use the park quite often for running and biking. Our house backs up to the old entrance so we go down that road and around the gate that has been put in place of the old entrance.
Trees are being harvested at this time so you just have to be aware of those areas and they are easily recognizable because of all the equipment.
If you would like to try it out give us a call (937-6810). You can park at our house and my husband, Tom, can take you on a running tour of the current park. He'll be hunting all day on Saturday but Sunday afternoon may be an option.
