I guess, without Bowie to watch over you, you didn't put the tape close enough to the mark when measuring Joe Cain that year. Only missed by about 200 yards, close enough for Nuclear War, right? I realize 3 years is a long time to hold a grudge but it was the best 5k I have run since, oh somewhere around 1981 and I'll never really know how fast I ran. : ( I will admit that you rectified the situation in 2003. Must have had Bowie helping with that one, eh?
