We received requests from several relays to open new divisions. We want to encourage competition and participation all we can, short of creating a new division for each team. The new divisions requested are Senior Grandmasters for both men and women. Any takers out there for another team in these divisions. Both teams competed last year.
I just reveived a request/challenge from a walker in Pensacola who wants to know if we have a walker division. Mobile walkers, do we have a team to acccept the challenge?
Entries are running ahead of pace and we're excited about a great race. If the relay division as of last week there were no entries in the all male categories.
Also, we are in the process of getting the half marathon certified for those looking for a place to qualify for various races.
The half is flat and fast, and even though it is point to point, it is actually downhill!
